Since 1983, Chamber Music Limited has provided music
for over 2000 wedding ceremonies, receptions and corporate events.
Under the direction of John C. Klein, Chamber Music, Limited
 has grown to become Rochester's leading professional classical booking agency.
We have provided ensembles for virtually all of Rochester's major corporations,
including Xerox, Bausch and Lomb, and Eastman Kodak,
as well as institutions such as
the University of Rochester and the Rochester Institute of Technology.

John C. Klein, the First Violinist and Director of Chamber Music, Limited
is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music in violin performance.
He has additional graduate level training in chamber music as an assisant to the Fine Arts Quartet, and also has an extensive background in conducting and arranging music.
He has performed with or provided musical direction for such professional institutions as GeVa Theatre, the Rochester Oratorio Society and the Opera Theatre of Rochester.  In 2003, he appeared as the solo violinist for GeVa Theatre's acclaimed production of "1776".  He has a wealth of musical and practical experience which enables Chamber Music, Limited to provide ensembles of quality and competence.

Chamber Music, Limited can provide the following ensembles for wedding cermonies
and for festive receptions and events:

The Chamber Duo (harp and violin)
and
The String Quartet (two violins, one viola and one cello)

Wedding ceremony ensembles have a broad repertoire of traditional and nontraditional music.  The ensembles provide thirty minutes of of prelude music prior to the start of the service,
setting the appropriate mood for your guests. 
When the bridal entrance is made, a processional of your choice is performed.
Popular selections include:
Wagner: Wedding March from "Lohengrin"
Pachelbel: Canon in D Major
Bach: Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

The ensemble will perform any appropriate music during the service. 
A recessional of your choice is then performed, with additional festive music played
as your guests leave the serivce area or church.  Favorite recessionals include:
Mendelssohn: Wedding March from "A Midsummernight's Dream"
Clarke: Voluntary March
Handel: "The Rejoicing" from the Fireworks Music

For receptions, both the Duo and Quartet perform a broad range of music, from festive
 baroque minuets and bourrees, to the lighter classical pieces of Mozart and Hadyn,
to the lilting waltzes of Strauss. 

In addition, The String Trio (violin, viola and cello)
performs the courtly trios of Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven.
This ensemble is available for receptions only.

If the date you desire is available and you wish to book an ensemble,
you will sign a standard contract, pay a nonrefundable deposit of
twenty percent of the total booking cost, and the ensemble's services will be secured.
You also receive a personal copy of the Wedding Ceremony Music Guide CD.
Balances due must be paid prior to or on the day of the event.
